The city of Nafplion, which is located at the Argolic gulfis is one of the most beautiful destinations in Greece. Nafplion offers its visitors most beatiful coasts and seasides, picturesque anes in the old town district and a lot of other interesting sights. Charming boutiques and traditional small tavernas complete the most beautiful picture of the city. Nafplion, became the first capital of Greece in 1828, and Count Ioannis Kapodistrias was the governor. The atmosphere is uniquely romantic and fascinates

Points of interest
1.Palamidi: Climbing up the 999 steps of the Venisian fortress you will be rewarded by the view of the city of Nafplion and the surrounding sea. Besides, visit the cell were Thodoros Kolocotronis was imprisoned.
2.The castle of Mpourtzi: Small Venician stone castle, built on a small island at the entrance of the Argolic Gulf. You can hire a small boat so as you can visit it.
3.First Greek Parliament: It is situated on Syntagma square and it has been recently restored.
4.Saint Spyridon Church: It is worth visiting the church, in front of which the Governor Ioannis Kapodistrias was assassinated, on 25th September 1831.
5.Acronafplia: A wonderful walk in natural surroundings. On the one side you come across precipitous rocks and on the other the immense azure.
6.Seashores: Karathonas and Arvanitia. The first is an immense seaside of fine sand and the second one is small covered with pebbles.
7.Old Railway Station: It is situated in green surroundings , you can have coffee and let your children play in the nearby children's playground.
